What changes have been made to the Golden Visa?
To broaden the eligibility for the Golden Visa, the UAE government made some amendments. This is done to attract a diverse group of international specialists. They also hope to recruit bright students who wish to pursue employment there. Previously, only top investors, business owners, wealthy executives, and scientists were allowed to participate. However, the UAE authorities have announced that the following adjustments will take effect in December:

Eligibility period for Golden Visa
Golden Visa is eligible for Five or Ten years in the following four cases:
Specialty Students
When it comes to great pupils or educational specialists, they must meet one of the following criteria:
Come from one of the world’s top 500 universities.
You may be given an award or a certificate of recognition in your field of competence.
Students in high school with a minimum grade of 95% and university students with outstanding grades (3.8 GPA or higher)
Specialists, such as scientists, must demonstrate that they have significantly contributed to their field of study. A 10-year resident visa is available for scientists.
Creative individuals can also apply for a 10-year residency visa, but the Ministry of Culture and Youth must first accredit them.
Doctors and specialists must meet one of the following standards: PhD degree, prize, certificate, published articles, scientific books, organization participation, or speciality in a UAE priority area.
Real Estate Investors
The 5-year visa has many of the same conditions as the ordinary investor visa. The only difference is that the required investment amount.
Entrepreneurs
A 5-year residency visa is available to entrepreneurs. The following are the requirements:
Have an existing project with a minimum capital of AED 500,000 or clearance from a recognized business incubator.
Approval of a government-approved business incubator
Documents for the entrepreneur’s and their family’s health insurance
Those who apply as entrepreneurs must first obtain a six-month multi-entry visa, which must be renewed for another six months. Their spouse, children, three executives, and a partner can be sponsored.
Chief Executives
Chief executives are also eligible for a golden visa if they meet the following criteria:
a bachelor’s degree
Have at least five years of experience in their field.
Have a legitimate job contract in the UAE and earn at least AED 30000 monthly.
Along with the family’s health insurance.
